Field House Gym

The Field House Gym's own Dan Fryer competed this last weekend in some erg races in Melbourne. Dan did well in the race but failed to "stick to the game plan" and finished out of the medals. A lot of times it is not about winning or losing, it is more about getting out there and challenging yourself. Lining up and giving it everything you have. Win or lose, you come away better for it. Way to test yourself Dan!

Thanks! We brought ten middle- and high-school athletes with Jacksonville Rowing Club to the erg sprints. Nearly everyone PR'd, and three finished first in their event. It is inspiring to see these kids make the transition from fearing the competition to kicking some serious ass!
