Social Networking: Field House Style

Undoubtedly most of you reading this will have by now noticed the social networking tools and features on the website. For the uninitiated, I’ll go into a
little detail of what these tools can do for you and how to use them.
If you are a member of FHG/CFWJ and have not yet done so, add yourself
as a member. You can do so by clicking “Sign Up” in the top right hand
corner of the site. Once you have created a profile you will be able to
add pictures, comment on the daily blog posts, add or invite friends,
comment on their pages, and even create your own blog if you wish. The
blog tool is especially useful as you can use this to post your WOD
results, PRs, or just your general day to day thoughts. You can share
your page with other social networking tools like Facebook or Myspace,
and even connect your profile to Twitter to give your tweeps the
lowdown on your fitness adventures. From your page you can also send
messages or give “e-gifts” to any friends you’ve added on the site.

Our site is unique in its capabilities, so put them to good use! Add yourself as a member, add some friends, comment on the blogs and
interact with each other! Additionally, if you have any photos, videos,
links, recipes, stories or anecdotes you’d like to share with your
fellow members, feel free to post them in the blog comments or send to
me at
info@fieldhousegym.com and
I’ll do what I can to get them posted up for you. Keep all content
appropriate, of course, but I hardly feel like I need to say that.
Remember, this is not just a gym, it’s a community, and the website can
be as fun and as useful as you want it to be.

Oh, my trapezius! Guess, I've got the pull/shrug part down. Now, or ever, it would be nice to master dropping under that dam bar. And yes, what every female dreams of big/strong traps, ugh.

I was happy to actually have some small bruises on my shoulders to go along with the welt in the center of my bird chest. Progress!!!

I like Mark Rippetoe's quote: "Accumulating injuries is the price we pay for the thrill of not having sat around on our *sses"
